Mr T is back and this time he is changing the World of Warcraft. Last time around he was told there wasnt any Nightelf Mohawk class…. well now he has developed a grenade that will bless the target with the awesome style of a Nightelf Mohawk. Check out the ad:
How do you get your hands on these? Well it sounds quite simple. Here is info straight from Blizz:
Q. What is the Mohawk Grenade?
A. The Mohawk Grenade is Mr. T’s latest invention: an in-game item that, when hurled at another character, gives everyone within the blast radius an instant T-riffic haircut. Don’t worry, you and your friends will look gooooood.
Q. Where do I get it?
A. Quit your jibber-jabber and claim your Mohawk Grenades from any of the Night Elf Mohawk NPCs camped outside every starting zone.
Q. What regions are eligible to claim the Mohawk Grenade?
A. North America, Europe and Korea.
Q. Is this a permanent item?
A. Each Mohawk Grenade has five charges before exhausting its power, and you’re welcome to claim another once the charges are gone.
Q. How long will the Mohawk Grenade be available in-game?
A. Claim Mohawk Grenades starting November 16th in North America and November 24th in Europe and Korea. They’ll be available until… well, until the Night Elf Mohawk decides his work is done.
And with that they have entered into the realm of micro transactions…. Well to be honest with all the race change, faction change, name change, character change they really are already in that realm.
Anyway they have released a pet store where you can buy companion pets for your character. These are of the non combat variety and Blizzard has already said that they have no plans on releasing content that increases a players abilities in game for money.
So what are the pets? Well we have a lil K.T who looks awesome and a Pandaren Monk. Half of the proceeds to every Pandaren Monk purchased through December 31, 2009 will be donated to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. How nice of them.
They are $10 (US) each and you can check out the pair here. Will you be picking one up?
We have heard (well not personally) from Jerry Bruckheimer, the movie is screening great — no, better than great. Greater than great! Says the producer, “What we found when we tested the movie a few weeks ago, and it tested extraordinarily high which surprised me because I always think these things are going to fail but this one turned out great; the women were a surprise because I thought we made a terrific movie for the boys because the girl is beautiful but the women flipped over this film.”
What movie? Well if you are clever enough you would see that in the post title it was Prince of Persia.
I am still out on if this will be any good. I loved the pirate movies and the Prince of Persia trilogy (especially sands of time – which this is based on) were great games! I just hope they do it justice.
Next year when Mass Effect 2 hits shelves there will be a collectors edition (at least confirmed for US – but I would be suprised if we dont get something similar down under)
Whats in it you ask? Well the collector’s edition will come in a tin case and include the game, a 48-page hardcover “Art of Mass Effect 2″ book, Issue 1 of the Mass Effect Redemption comic book, and a bonus DVD with behind-the-scenes and making-of videos.
That along with the awesome bonus armour I got for purchasing Dragon Age:Origins sounds awesome.
The new LFG goes in when patch 3.3 hits and one of the cool things you can do is pick up dungeon quests with random pugs.
Now some people might think puggin it sucks – well Blizzard are trying to entice you. Not only with cool quests and emblems and gold and achievements but also with this cool guy:
Anyone play a Shammy? If so sorry – Blizzard have still not released your T10 preview. Everyone else enjoy!!
Pally is finally complete – WTF your wearing a dress again! – dont know about you pallies out there but I think the Season 8 preview of your gear looks better. And Priests now have a hood I dont know about that I think I liked it without the hood.
