Well I havent posted some WoW news in awhile… well I dont think I have – so what better way to kick it back off then by posting about the epic 5-man instance in the next patch (3.3).

Blizzard have just released a preview on the official world of warcraft site, and boy does it look good. You can read it all in detail here.

I will let you guys feast on that, but a couple of things that I am lookin forward to in this instance I will share after the jump.

- This instance is a massive 3 wings! Each acting as its own instance (which means each wing will have a lockout period when playing on heroic). You have to clear each prior one to get to the next one (not sure if that is only the first time through).

- The gear. On normal mode that items that will be dropping will be iLevel 219 and on Heroic they will be iLevel 232. Sounds to me like Blizzard really want people geared up and ready to take out Arthas.

- You get to take down Arthas in a 5-man. It says it right there in the Halls of Reflection write up. We all know that Arthas is also going to be the big baddie of the Icecrown Citadel Raid so you probably wont be killing him here – but being able to fight him without having to PUG it in a 10 or 25 man will be awesome!

Finally some other news, the PTR for 3.3 will be up shortly – so those of you wanting to test that out might be a good idea to sign up for the PTR (I believe you can do it through the WoW Launcher).
