Starcraft battle.net presentation had alot of nice features on it. Read on for details.

They showed off this concept of always connected, some highlights include:
- achievements similar to WoW but apparently they have improvements that include: rewards for you profile.
- you tie Starcraft to your battle.net account and log in similar to the WoW log in.
- save system is online so you can play in multiple locations and not have to worry.

Everyone competitive is a new system that they use with matchmaking. Players are sorted into leagues so hopefully you will be competing with people of similar skill.

There are also more casual friendly options like the practice league that fir example have special no rush maps

Party play has been added letting you have the ability to play online together and chat.

Custom games have been overhauled to help find the games you want to play, it’s easier to play with mates.

Battle.net real ID is a concept where you can see and communicate with people as you know them, talk across game and realms, connected achievements (for account rather then character) – this is not just for Starcraft – this will go into WoW and all future blizzard games.

Starcraft 2 marketplace – similar to the app store where you can make maps and submit them either at free or for a price and also a portion of the revenue will go to the mapmaker!
