Now I didnt know that Rock Back did this (kudos to them) but it has been revealed that you will be able to import older songs into Guitar Hero 5. This will work for World Tour and Smash hits (obviously on the current generation consoles).
BUT… and it is a big nasty but…
It wont be free. No news on pricing but I feel a little annoyed at that tid bit of info. I dont know how it will all work but to me if you have bought something already and want to use it in a game that has basically the same functionality – and they able to import then why not do it for free??
Maybe I am missing something – but I still find it crazy!
The only thing you have to keep in mind is if I buy GH5 and don’t own any other GH games, what stops me from borrow your games and importing the tracks?
It is still annoying for those that do own previous games though.
From what I understand its not all the songs on previous games either, its only some of them.
