Ghostcrawler has just dropped some interesting info over on the blizzard forums in regards to tanking – but tanking isnt the interesting part. The interesting part is he lets slip how many bosses will be in Ice Crown.

but once we say “tanking niches” players have visions of the DK who parks outside of Icecrown until boss 4, 17 and 31 (yes, IC is that big).

31 bosses! thats going to be a fun full raid isnt it. As Ice Crown will be considered the final content to the Wrath of the Lich King expansion it sounds fitting that it would go out on a high (big) note.

So with that being said 3.2 just dropped I suppose it is time for me (and all you out there not already doing so) to gear up and get ready for the final showdown at Ice Crown cause its going to be big!

  1. Hmmm, I actually am more interested in the tanking niches, I like the idea of needing certain players to tank certain encounters, and they’ve really been paving the way for it with dual spec and whatnot. If you ask me tanks have all become a wash lately, hopefully when Icecrown comes out they’ll separate them some more and make bears what they should be, an immovable force with big fuck off armor and health and nothing else :)

Pallys can have their fun with self healing and threat gen, but they’ll all be QQing when I pop my SI and hit up 60k health :D
