New Xbox
Yes! A new xbox for me! This one sports the new Jasper chipset and doesnt house the CD-Drive over the top of the CPU so failure due to overheating is suppose to be really small to nothing! So RRoD proof? Time will tell.
But there is still some problems.
My old Xbox is definatly dead and with it my saves. So what should we do? Is it fair to start back up and I have to rush through the early content to catch up? I dont think so… well I dont really mind. But I see this as a chance to maybe review our current standings and make the game race better!!!
What can we do – well there is a couple of things:
- Let me catch up to the point I was at and continue from there (of course the collectable quest progress I had will kinda be hard to replicate)
- Screw it and just start up again – I have the achievements already so its just a matter of getting through the early part of the game.
- Declair Dave the winner of this game race (due to him being ahead in points) and start planning on the next one so I can show him who is boss :)
I doubt anyone will be discussing this online (other then me, dave and possibly dave’s brother) but thoughts are welcome.

i say mitch should start from the beginning and try and catch dave. It can’t be that hard :P
So you can’t copy the hard drive over?
Declare Dave the winner! that’s the right thing to do.
If you still have the old hard drive you can transfer the content to the new one with a transfer cable Microsoft sells. I guess you’ll need to borrow someone’s Xbox so you can power the hard drive, but you should be able to salvage everything that way.
Aww yeah, why not just use my xbox to power your hard drive and transfer??? Can’t you just transfer with the memory card?? Also, just start again, that game took me like 2 days to get to the end of… Note, I never said finish :)
