So Activision is the publisher for a little series called Call Of Duty. They have a game coming out soon call Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Apparently this is a highly anticipated game and so, taking this in account along with a strong euro/pound at the moment, they’re going to run a little test. Charge up to 10% more for the game to see if people will still buy it.
To be fair, it’s a logical business decision. If you have a hot product and you know its going to sell, charge more. But it’s a little dissappointing that its going to happen, and no doubt happen with more games when Activision finds its a huge success.
